In the heart of Seville's sumptuous Plaza de España, transformed into an exceptional stage setting for one evening, the French musician unveils his brand new immersive concert-show.
Considered one of the most accomplished projects of his career, Jean-Michel Jarre takes the audience on a timeless and spatialized musical journey. After the Forbidden City, the Pyramids of Giza, the Acropolis of Athens, and Notre-Dame de Paris, the visionary pioneer of electronic music takes over a new architectural gem: the majestic Plaza de España.
“Very early on, I had the chance to explore unusual places, because if I hadn't been a musician, I would probably have been an architect,” says Jean-Michel Jarre. Conceived as an ongoing dialogue between immersive music and visual technology, the “Live in Sevilla” concert revisits his iconic tracks—from “Oxygene” to “Equinoxe,” from “Zoolookologie” to “Chants Magnétiques,” from “Robots Don't Cry” to ‘Stardust’—while offering a preview of his new works, "Oxymore ,“ ”Epica,“ and ”Brutalism."
Recorded during his 2025 European tour, this show, supported by scenography and visual creations designed by the artist using AI, intertwines electronic music, video, and laser and light architecture.
Filmed on July 8, 2025, at the Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest in Seville. The festival gave a new dimension to the Plaza de España, designed by Aníbal González as an open-air auditorium for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition.
